Let’s hope the Flames are awake to start the game. Dallas just continuing their play from last years playoffs. There’s a reason that series went 7.
It’s kinda fitting that both Columbus and Florida are out of the playoff picture right now.. Tkachuk left for a better lifestyle, so I hope he’s happy. Johnny for a better family life which I’m sure he has. Neither have to worry about extended seasons.

Markstrom's $6M contract is starting to get a little worrying. Dan The Man's $2.2M contract beginning next season is starting to look like a steal.

I now understand why they brought in Rooney. If you expect to find yourself in a bunch of one-goal games, best to have an airtight PK. I did not know Rooney was on a two-way contract; having him in the minors is non-issue.

As for Markstroms struggles go, not a bad thing to give Vladar more starts now. We need Marky sharp for the run-up to the playoffs. If the Flames are actually going to make it, they will have to start playing playoff hockey much earlier than most teams.

I’m ok with giving Vladar a few more games but we all know Sutter and his loyalty to his Vets. Looks like Lewis isn’t getting sat down for a rest anytime soon, 8 goals on the season now.
Think maybe that attempted hit by Marchment might spark the Flames, both 10 and 17 throw hits on 4 in his own end. Good to see.

I am over those two; I miss the chaos that Tkachuk brought. His play was entertaining, but he has toned it down.

Hubs play still has a long way to go. Interesting that last year playing with Bennett and Duclair gave him his best numbers. I read somewhere that Duclair and Bennett worked with Hubs because of their speed, but neither is known for their hockey IQ. Maybe Lucic works with Hubs because there is nothing fancy, just a north-south game and his stick on the ice? Just a thought.

Had to know the 3rd wasn’t going to go well when Andersson starting talking about the next one during his interview. That and the fact that the Stars are one of the best 3rd period scoring teams.

No such thing as an ugly win !!! Dallas is a great 3rd period team and those goals were tips so no one stopping them !!! No one remembers how just how many !!!!! Vladar to start in Nashville !! Ride him till he loses 2 in a row !!!
